Based on the production demands of millions of customers, ZENITH has developed the industrial milling machines which cover fully the crude powder, fine powder and ultrafine powder. The tens of years of customer service experiences make ZENITH learn better the customer's investment ideas and considerations so as to provide specific solutions.
A ball mill is a type of grinder used to grind materials into extremely fine powder for use in mineral dressing processes, paints, pyrotechnics, and ceramics.
Tumbling Steel Ball Mills and Ceramic Lined Mills are one of the most precise, reliable and cost effective methods of fine grinding solids in either a wet or dry state. Ball Mills are referred to by many names including Pebble Mills, Tube Mills and Attrition Mills, but no matter what the nomenclature they all operate on the same efficient principle. A horizontal cylinder is rotated at a predetermined speed that sets the balls into a tumbling and cascading motion which impact the solids in a very predictable and controllable fashion. Because the process takes several hours, the particles will not only be finely milled, but will exhibit a narrow particle size distribution.
Wet ball mill is used widely in the ore beneficiation industry,as well as the building material industry. During the producing phase, the material and water are mixed together to grind in the ball mill. Under the effect of the flowing water, the material will get a better flow ability so the processing capacity will be higher.
We usually control the granularity of the final product with spiral classifier, hydraulic cyclone or high frequency screen etc. The product is slurry which can make fully preparation for the following concentrating and other procedure. Wet ball mill as the most important machine of ore beneficiation field, the performance of ball mill determines the whole producing plant quality. The common wet ball mill are grate type and overflow type. We should choose the suitable type according to the specific condition.
Froth flotation is an important concentration process. To separate any two different particles and operated by the surface chemistry of the particles, the process is always used. In flotation, bubbles are introduced into a pulp and the bubbles rise through the pulp. In the process, hydrophobic particles become bound to the surface of the bubbles. The driving force for this attachment is the change in the surface free energy when the attachment occurs. These bubbles rise through the slurry and are collected from the surface. To enable these particles to attach, careful consideration of the chemistry of the pulp needs to be made. These considerations include the pH, Eh and the presence of flotation reagents. The pH is important as it changes the charge of the particles surface and the Eh effects the chemisorptions of collectors on the surface of the particles.
